Please note that Jenolan Caves is in a National Park, so do not bring pets. Also, the road into the valley is not suitable for caravans. But there are caravan parks in nearby Lithgow and Oberon. Fuel is unavailable at Jenolan - please fill up at Oberon, Lithgow or Mt Victoria.

Exciting Adventure caves
If you are looking for adventure – something that thrills without the spills, squeeze, crawl and climb through winding, ancient passageways with only your head lamp to light your way. Adventure caving is about leaving the paths and fixed lights and following your experienced guide to the depths of the earth. Whether a first timer or skilled adventurer, there is an adventure to suit you.
Night tours
We run a tour from 8pm to 10pm every evening except Sundays. The intriguing 'Legends, Mysteries & Ghosts' tour runs every Saturday (and Wednesday) night. Other fascinating tours run on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and Friday nights. At set dates, we even have fun and informative history tours that bring Jenolan’s unusual past to life. Tours for Children
During NSW school holidays, we run tours for children, age 7-12, enabling them to experience the caves through fun activities that they can understand. .
Scenic Bushwalks - glimpse native Australian wildlife
Jenolan Caves is in a huge nature reserve which forms part of the Blue Mountains World Heritage area. For FREE, you can stroll along a choice of scenic bush tracks (from easy to strenuous), picnic at the Blue Lake, and in the quiet of the early morning or at dusk, see native animals and birds. On almost any day you can spot a platypus. (Tip: if you stay overnight in one of our Jenolan Caves cottages, you are sure to see kangaroos.) For more information:
Unique Concerts & Events On Saturdays, we often host underground concerts. There is our popular 'Concerts in the Caves' series, and we have many other artists, performing deep underground in the Cathedral Cave, in the Grand Arch or in Caves House.
