Accommodation for Couples
Steal away to our hidden mountain retreat, an intriguing 19th century guest house, irresistible gateway to the underworld! Those who appreciate tradition, elegance, and fun will discover something really special. Caves House, has inspired romance since 1897, when it became the place for society couples to honeymoon. Now heritage listed, it is one of Australia’s few remaining guesthouses from the late Victorian era, brimming with atmosphere.
For a sweet weekend getaway, try a ‘Classic’ or ‘Grand Classic’ guestroom - lovingly appointed with period furnishings. Dine by candlelight in Chisholm’s Restaurant, the grand dining room. Treasure an evening stroll around spectacular limestone arches & tranquil Blue Lake, by lamplight.
You can appreciate Jenolan's breathtaking beauty, fine food, good wine, tranquillity and, best of all - the reinvigorating effects of a complete getaway.
Please note that we are installing a new elevator, from July 17 until September 21. During that time, an elevator will not be available in Caves House. Therefore, if you have mobility problems, you may prefer to stay with us before or after the installation.
Enjoy a family room in the modern Mountain Lodge. For bigger family get-togethers, stay in the self-contained (and economical) GateHouse, with bunk rooms and shared facilities, in one of our self-contained Jenolan Caves Cottages (set amid grazing kangaroos) or our Bellbird Cottage. Jenolan offers something for all ages, so have fun!
Many guests come to Jenolan, as part of their solo travels, seeking challenge and adventure. We have rooms for all needs and budgets. You might try our backpacker lodge or one of our charming 'traditional' rooms in Caves House.
