Our biggest annual event! Santa Claus, all the best-loved Carols, fantastic performers - all hosted by a celebrity compere. Immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas.

Once again, we are thrilled to present two spectacular Christmas carols concerts (matinee and evening) in the massive ‘twilight’ cave, the Grand Arch. Join in singing traditional Christmas carols, with a range of fantastic singers, who perform on stage, and scale to great heights to sing on rocky ledges, among the stalagmites and stalactites. Santa Claus and Bandaged Bear will be there too. Every year, a well known personality donates their valuable time to compere Carols in the Caves. A unique event, in the Blue Mountains Tourism Awards of Excellence 2012, ‘Carols in the Caves’ won the ‘Festivals & Events’ award for the third year in a row. This dramatic setting provides an unforgettable experience for all ages, and supports a worthy cause - research into childhood cancer at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, one of the largest childhood cancer centres in Australia. Funds raised by Carols in the Caves will support The Tumour Bank. Compere, performers, stage crew and all personnel donate their time and expertise to this annual event. The day will also feature raffles and all-day market stalls. |

Your ticket also includes a souvenir booklet. Do not arrive late, as the road through the Grand Arch will be closed from 1:30 to 3:45 pm and from 7:30 to 10:15pm.
What to bring
Although the event is in summer, please:
- dress warmly for Carols in the Caves
- bring a folding chair
- bring your own refreshments (or purchase refreshments at Caves House).

Next Day - Underground ChurchOn the day after Carols in the Caves, you are welcome to hear the Christmas message, at Underground Church. Underground Church is held twice a year only, in the Cathedral Chamber of the Lucas Cave, at 9am. It is non-denominational. Everyone is invited, free of charge! |
