At Jenolan, you are always in safe, capable hands. All our guide staff have formal qualifications in tourism and all our Adventure Caving guides have qualifications in outdoor recreation.

 

All cave guides have first aid qualifications.

 

Each guide walks up and down literally thousands of stairs every day and many kilometers. You can imagine how fit they are!

Jenolan is a major employer in the region. Every day we have approximately 14 guide staff (and up to 30 each day during school holidays and long weekends). Including casual staff, we have 42 men and women full of energy and enthusiasm, ready to help you have a marvelous time. We employ approximately 10 maintenance staff.

 

At peak times the Caves House Hospitality Team swells to 40 dedicated team members who focus on creating a warm welcome for our guests

When you come to Jenolan, look around for the guide that showed you through the caves when you were a school child, because they could very well still be here! We have some staff who have been working at Jenolan for more than 30 years. Staff who have been with us for 10 years are considered newcomers!

 

Our staff come from all age groups and genuinely enjoy their work. We are proud to boast of a happy working environment! One of the reasons is our strong family focus - many married couples work at Jenolan.
