Yulefest (Christmas in July)
Kids meet Santa inside a cave & grownups enjoy that Christmas feeling.
Yulefest (Christmas in July) is an annual Blue Mountains tradition.
During Yulefest, at heritage-listed Jenolan Caves House, grownups enjoy the feeling of Christmas, and children meet Santa inside one of the famous caves.
Snow is not guaranteed in the Jenolan Valley, but in the surrounding ridges (approx. 1,350m above sea level) snow in July is always a possibility. Caves House guests enjoy log fires and huge Christmas tree.
Chisolm’s Restaurant will celebrate Yulefest on July 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 22 & 29.
Adult diners receive a small Christmas gift. Best of all, children receive a gift - from Santa inside a cave, before dinner!
Jenolan Caves draws visitors from all over the world, not only for its world famous caves, but also for historic Caves House. Upstairs, in the elegant style of the Edwardian era, Chisolm’s Restaurant is part of the Jenolan Experience and a wonderful way to build lifetime memories.
Yulefest packages are available, offering the Yulefest Dinner plus Accommodation. Prices vary widely, depending on the room type. Please ask us about our packages.
