Jenolan Caves Cottages
CLICK HERE for BOOKINGS or full details.
The Jenolan Caves cottages are a great option for families, groups and the budget conscious. If you stay in one of our self-contained cottages, that tells us you love technology-free seclusion, fresh mountain air, eucalyptus forest as far as you can see and kangaroos! Kangaroos can always been seen grazing around these secluded cottages. There are barbeques and a children's playground. These 2-bedroom cottages are fun for families. The gas fire is cosy in the cooler months. It is a true escape from the world.
Take a Break from Technology
Our cottages have no phones, and there is no mobile reception. Being incommunicado is one of the nice things about staying in such a secluded spot. However, if you must stay connected, there is wi-fi for your mobile phone calls. And although there is no TV reception, our cottages have TVs with DVD players.
Getting to the Caves from the Cottages
NOTE that Jenolan Caves Road is now closed between our cottages and our caves.
Therefore, if you are our cottage guest, and you have booked a cave tour, you need to take the Jenolan Caves Road to Duckmaloi Road, then on to Titania Road, Edith and then Jenolan. Please see the map.
Although this route take 50 minutes (60km), it's worth it to experience Australia's most spectacular caves! Give yourself extra drive time to appreciate the lush farmland views and wild flowers. Watch out for wildlife crossing the roads.
Also, remember if you have booked a cave tour, (or lunch, high tea or dinner at Caves House), please arrive at the Jenolan carpark 45 minutes early. This gives you time to catch our shuttle bus from the carpark to the caves and use the restroom, etc, before your activity starts.
Water
Each cottage has a bathroom, laundry and kitchenette, with hot and cold water, of course, but we also supply bottled water for drinking.
