Yulefest (Christmas in July)

Snow is not guaranteed in the Jenolan Valley, but on the surrounding mountain ridges (approx. 1,350m above sea level) snow in July is always a possibility. So before your trip, please remember to check that the roads are open.

Yulefest (Christmas in July) is an annual Blue Mountains tradition that began in 1980. During Yulefest, at heritage-listed Jenolan Caves House, grownups enjoy the feeling of Christmas, and children meet Santa. Caves House guests can enjoy the log fires. Upstairs, in the elegant Art Deco style of the Edwardian era, Chisolm’s Restaurant is part of the Jenolan Experience and a wonderful way to build lifetime memories. We will celebrate Yulefest on:

  • Saturday, July 4,
  • Friday, July 10,
  • Saturday, July 11,
  • Friday, July 17,
  • Saturday, July 18,
  • Friday, July 24,
  • Saturday, July 25,
  • Friday, July 31 and
  • Saturday, August 1.
See our delicious Yulefest menu.  $99 per adult and $35 per child. (There is a separate menu for children under age 12.)  Please note that, as one of our many COVID-19 safeguards, we are not accepting cash.
Also if your children would like to visit Santa and receive their gift from him, remember to ARRIVE 1 HOUR BEFORE YOUR BOOKED DINNER TIME.
