Drift and Dream!  Be seduced by sound!

Georg Mertens plans to finish his very popular Concerts in the Caves series at the end of December.  Georgs' underground solo cello concerts have been running for 16 years.  They are the longest running series of cello concerts in world history, and they are performed in the world's oldest caves!  We will be very sad to see him go.

Do not miss this very special performance, with its central theme - The Blessed Lady.  The main piece will be the Magnificat in Bb, arranged by 18th century Italian composer, Francesco Durante (1684-1775). This piece features four voice parts - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, and on this occasion will be accompanied by keyboard.  The rest of the performance will be a selection of sacred motets.

The Paganini Duo features Georg Mertens on sensual guitar and Gustaw Szelski on wicked violin.

Georg and Gustaw plan to finish their very popular concert series at the end of December.  Their gypsy music concerts have been running for 15 years.  We will be very sad to see them go.

We are thrilled to present two spectacular Christmas carols concerts in the massive ‘twilight’ cave, the Grand Arch.  Join in traditional Christmas carols, with a range of fantastic singers, who perform on stage, and scale to great heights to sing on rocky ledges, among the stalagmites and stalactites.  Santa Claus and Bandaged Bear will be there too.

Every year, a well known personality donates their valuable time to compere Carols in the Caves, as all concert and raffle profits are donated to the Children's Hospital at Westmead. 

A unique event, in the Blue Mountains Tourism Awards of Excellence 2012, ‘Carols in the Caves’ won the ‘Festivals & Events’ award for the third year in a row.
